‘The Last Resort’

In summer 2009 the BBC filmed the second series of ‘The Last Resort’ in the tranquil settings of Colebrooke Park. It is being broadcast over ten consecutive week nights since Monday, January 4th at 10.35pm.

This series follows six people through a ten day journey, as they take part in a radical health experiment to tackle their chronic health conditions. This programme was hosted by some well known professionals; Clinical Psychologist Dr Raman Kapur, Nutritionist Karen Devine and Life Coach Gillian Killen. Working together they offer a three pronged approach to cleanse the mind, body and soul of the contestants. Also working alongside them is a new age therapist Nigel McFarland who brings a state of calm to the contestants experience at the Last Resort.
